More About Rock House The Chinese name 海天書樓 carries poetic and spiritual meaning. “海天” comes from the phrase, “With the sea as ink and the sky as parchment, we lift our brush to paint the grace of God.” It expresses a calling to use God-given gifts, words, and modern communication tools to proclaim His grace and share the Gospel. The term 書樓, meaning “book house,” reflects a place where faith, learning, and Christian teaching are shared. It also echoes the early Church’s gathering places, where the message of Christ was taught, received, and carried into the world. The English name Rock House points to Christ, the Rock, upon whom our publishing ministry is built. The Bible is our foundation, and the Gospel remains at the heart of our message.
